COOLING CYCLE

Excess heat in the room is absorbed via the refrigerant gas, which is sealed within the system. The cooler liquid refrigerant absorbs the heat from the room and passes from the heat exchanger to small-bore pipes to an outdoor unit where the heat is released into the atmosphere. The difference in temperature causes the refrigerant to change and release all its heat, it then returns to the indoor unit where the air is blown over the heat exchanger via a fan back into the room. This cycle is automatically repeated over and over again. |
